Synopsis
Earth Hour – when millions join together to turn out the lights. Each year, Earth Hour is celebrated on a Saturday night near the equinox in March. At 8:30 p.m., in every time zone across the world, lights fade to black for this special event as a global action and promise to conserve energy. Earth Hour is sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund. Across each continent–from the Eiffel Tower to the Great Wall of China to the Statue of Liberty–one small act reminds all of us of our enormous impact on planet Earth.
